Keith Appling actually looks promising. If he can end up being a quality back up pg day one then we would have better options for the MLE to strengthen the bench.
Looks like he drives and finishes well. I'm interested to see how he does in summer league. This is definitely a draft that is capable of producing a Wesley Matthews type player.

I like Birch but DAMN is he skinny...209 lbs. Barry looks a lot like Dame without the explosiveness....so maybe more like CJ.
I won't be surprised if Birch has talks with Cle. They have a lot of bigs and if they could move one and her place them with Birch then they would free a lot of cap room. Excited to see Appling play, we could do the same with him if he pans out.
Ex-Zag Sam Dower has been invited to the Blazers Summer League. Should be fun to watch. He has good size and has a lot of Zach Randolph about him. Didn't have a great senior year though. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at training camp either.
