Went to college with Lillard. I'm sure it means a lot to him.

Craig Brackins will be on the Blazers summer league team, 6'10 PF from Iowa State. Was drafted in the first round by the 76ers in 2010.

Keith Appling actually looks promising. If he can end up being a quality back up pg day one then we would have better options for the MLE to strengthen the bench.

Looks like he drives and finishes well. I'm interested to see how he does in summer league.

This is definitely a draft that is capable of producing a Wesley Matthews type player.

Khem Birch does look awfully nice among comparable names. Just wish we knew who he was playing against when he got those blocks.

I like Birch but DAMN is he skinny...209 lbs.

Barry looks a lot like Dame without the explosiveness....so maybe more like CJ.

I won't be surprised if Birch has talks with Cle. They have a lot of bigs and if they could move one and her place them with Birch then they would free a lot of cap room.

Excited to see Appling play, we could do the same with him if he pans out.

He's between Dame and CJ? Dame was almost an all star and CJ didn't really show anything.

So to clarify, what they looked like coming out of small colleges after being 4 year players.

Yeah I was thinking the same about Nerlens Noel. He didn't show me much last season either.

Ex-Zag Sam Dower has been invited to the Blazers Summer League. Should be fun to watch. He has good size and has a lot of Zach Randolph about him. Didn't have a great senior year though. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at training camp either.

The more I see of this guy the more intrigued I become. Front office is probably laughing at the hyped draft causing him to go in noticed. Wonder how tight him and Dame are. I'm sure they know eachother well since they both grew up in Oakland around the same time, and played for weber state together.

I wouldn't put it past olshey, he's cold as hell. This guy is probably going to be talked about a lot next year.

    Edit:
1:35 "Have you spoken to damian?" "Every other day, that's my boy, we grew up together"
Refers to dame as his "big brother"

A nice article from 2011 about Lillard which discusses his friendship with Berry.

Another article, this one about Berry growing up. It pinpoints when Dame and Berry began to collaborate.
    http://www.wsusignpost.com/2014/03/17/davion-berry-from-oakland-to-ogden-47555#.U6_Uxdq9KK1

Had no idea this guy and dame went that far back. I wonder why this isn't being talked about more. Possibly because he was overlooked in a draft which is being considered overhyped? Is portland simply doing Damian a favor by giving one of his good friends a shot?

You see quality players go I drafted all the time. Anyone else excited about this guy?

    He could wear 00

Just because he's friends with Lillard doesn't mean he's actually any good. Well see.
