I'm quick to blame Cashman but Beltran is only sucking because he's basically done injury wise...looks like he should just shut it down and we can hope we can get a decent last two years from him

Soriano what was Cashman thinking? This dude is done no power and needs his push cart in the field.

runner on first, no outs, 3-1 count to jeter, lester running out of gas

    green light, double play

girardi is clueless, you throw up a red light or at the very least you start the runner

immediately ellsbury singles, so jeter's horrid AB ruins everything

dominating the whole game and his sequence to napoli for no reason reeks of no intelligence...you have stephen drew who has been the worst hitter I've ever seen since his return coming up but no, groove napoli a 1-2 fastball

this team is bad on 50 different levels

not only is the talent not there but they're so dumb

ANOTHER great decision by Girardi, you've got a 130 hitter on deck (Drew) but decides to pitch to Napoli. How some of you continue to defend this clowns poor judgement calls game after game is f'king amazing to me.

Yeah Ron, we're in full agreement here. This offense is just pitiful.

Well Girardi choose to pitch to Napoli as opposed to Drew but this is not all on the idiot, this team just can't f;king hit.

So he could pitch to a 130 hitter instead with the game on the line.

Couldn't be a worse second guess. Two outs with nobody on you're not walking people.

drew hasn't been bad, he's been horrendous

you don't IBB Napoli but you don't groove him a fastball

regardless it comes back to the offensive ineptitude

Vic seriously it's not rocket science just good plain old common sense. Pitch to a guy with power who could hurt you with the game on the line & 1st base open or pitch to a guy who's hitting a buck & a quarter who's in a 1 for 32 slump. Look at it this way, this would have been equivalent to the NL where you walk the 8th place hitter to pitch to the pitcher. Same odds.

But putting that aside we didn't lose because of that lame ass decision, we lost because guys are just not hitting & there's really not much Girardi could do about that.

Why was Jeter swinging on 3 and 1. He should be taking or bunting. He is a distraction to this so called team with all his hoopla bullshit.
