    Tampa traded Purcell to Edmonton for Gagner....Both players have similar cap hits at $4.5-$4.8

    TB then sent Gagner to the Coyotes for a 6th rounder

    TB is basically dumping salary. Net/net is they trade a useful player in Purcell for a 6th round pick

    TB just dumped Thompson for picks. He isn't very good but now have cleared 6m in cap space. I wonder if they are going after one if the big UFAs or Spezza

    Yzerman has a specific goal in mind. I'd be surprised he does not
    land Spezza. It does not take a genius to do restructuring to obtain
    THE PRIZE. Here is where Sather does not get it. My guess is he'll
    screw up.
