    Per an article I just read on Fox Sports Napolis' "What an idiot" comment was picked up on Fox Sports Microphones as he was high fiving his team mates. What will the Yankees do about that?

    Hmmm, Chin Music time, (not advocating throwing at the head, just trimming the beard a bit)...

    Or shove a microphone up his ass....

    "the mind is a mirror reflecting what is in the mind"...thus Napoli IS an Ass, he learned as much from Sciosca, then refined his assness in Boston, home of Mega Asses...and wannabe baseball fans...!!!

    Only good thing in Boston is the Baked Beans...! But boy, is the END result smelly....! Like their team...!

    ...what are they supposed to do?...If I was Napoli I'd be just as surprised at the freebie Tanaka gave him...there was absolutely NO reason to throw a FB there...he'd been making Napoli look bad all night with the splitter...why throw the FB? ...Tanaka's decision did was idiotic.

    ...fwiw, even Tanaka's own words afterwards don't make sense;

    "I just wanted to go hard outside with my fastball," Tanaka said. "I wanted to show the batter a fastball there even if it was not in the strike zone. I wanted to set him up for a breaking ball on the next pitch."

    Tanaka's comments would of made sense, if he would of thrown a outside fastball, about 6 inches off the plate. Tempt Napoli with something he couldn't get ahold of....

    but, I think he would of been better suited with his splitter, in lieu of trying to set him up with a breaking ball afterwards...ya' think?

    (the highlighted bold quote, is indeed senseless, as if he has no control of where he's going to place the ball, given a small pctg. of pitches thrown that don't hit their target, thats simply Masahiro's bad, IMO.)

    You can't beat the Northeastern States for Subs, Pizzas, Philly Steaks and yeah the Boston Baked Beans.

    I live in southeastern pa & THE ONLY food item they consistently get right is the cheesesteak.... They have hoagies which are far inferior to a sub.... Their bagels aren't good, pizza isn't that great... Hell, I can't even get good roast beef out here....

    I've got to be honest, If I'm Napoli I'm thinking the EXACT same thing. It was an idiot pitch. A rookie mistake which I've no doubt he'll learn from.

    I lived in Philly, was stationed at Carlisle Barracks, used to run with a chick from Johnstown so I got around PA. I forgot that PA people call Subs Hoagies, they call them Grinders in Massachusetts. All that stuff was awesome. There was a place in Johnstown, real greasy spoon but the best chili dogs I ever ate. That sports bar across the street from old Yankee Stadium pumped out the best Roast Beef and Corned Beef sandwiches ever.

    Subs are different from hoagies and grinders... Different in more than just name... It's a different bread... that's one of the biggest differences... and I know a ton of italians who call them subs and not hoagies... and the best chili dog I ever had was in a place called Rutt's Hut http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rutt%27s_Hut

    Never had a "Po Boys".... what the hell is that?

    ...^^^ a Po Boy is pretty much a sub...I think its name originated from Louisiana.

    ...just different terminology, hammer.

    ...as one of my favorite actors (think it was it his 1st directing job too) in on of my favorite westerns said;

    ... "You know, Poltry's just another word for chicken".

    ...one helluva cast; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077621/fullcredits/

    Yep, Po Boy, is the only term (unless you visit Subway) in Luzianna. A Po Boy is made with a Homeade Yeast Bread Roll, much like a Hoagie, Grinder, or Sub.

    You can get anything in or on it you want. My Fav...Fresh Huge Prawns, with a Jalapeno/Mayo Spread. By far the best I've ever had, in my years in Lake Charles...!

    BTW- the shrimp/prawns are flown in fresh daily from the Atlantic/Fla. None are supposed to be used in the Gulf, and that was PRIOR to the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill, less a Shrimper went out a minimum of 500 miles off the Coast...yet, those regulations were never enforced, thus one had to insist on knowing where the seafood came from, in Luzianna...! Sad but true. As well the Mississippi, IS the most polluted body of Water in the USA.

    As good as any Sub, Grinder, or Hoagie, I've had in the states I've been to, less Minnesota, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska....! I don't count Puerto Rico tho'...!

    I tell ya', one cannot beat the food in the South, Great BBQ in GA. and other good home-cooking, Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, Greens, Okra, Black Eyed Peas, Grits, All produce, Pecan Pancakes, Buttermilk Biscuits, Homeade Cinamon Rolls....

    Then ya' got the Cajun/Creole/Southern Home cooked 3 elements of Luzianna, a world of its own, where they call you a Yankee if you live north of I-10. Most land south of I-10 is Marshland, swamp, in La. Boy does it get HOT/Humid down there.

    Only Fla, can be as Hot, this desert is HELL but at least its usually arid. 105 degrees as we speak, and its only 1:20 pm. We don't use air conditioners here as the norm. New homes have them, but older ones, built only 20 years ago, have and use Swamp Coolers....what the f'ks a Swamp Cooler, I hear soooo often, you don't want to know...!
