I think Monroe starts at center and I think Robinson/Rolo become our super subs. I don't think the trade includes Robinson.

Because Neil just told LMA he's a vital part of the organization... which means he's gone like Bledsoe.

Neil is obviously trading LMA for Lebron, so we need a PF.

How many contenders does he start for? Got to show him the max contract and playing for a 54 win team. Don't think he's ever been to the playoffs? We might sell him on the idea of playing big minutes with LaMarcus. I think Rolo would be best at 25-30minutes a night; LMA is getting older and could be more fresh with 32mpg so in theory that leaves 34-39 minutes for Monroe.

Wouldn't hurt of you wouldn't give any up?

TRob's trade value has never been higher, but he is just JJ Hickson without the ego. We just proved those guys are $2 mil players.

Sounds great. But someone tell me why Detroit would do this? I would think they would need Rolo.

This is what I envision. Let Rolo start and get us off to a solid vet start at the center position, but don't hesitate to bring in Monroe . . . who might actually get more mins per game than Rolo.

If the Pistons want TRob in a deal for Greg Monroe than that is an easy deal for me to do

Not even a single shred of doubt. TRob is limited and a career bench player.

He's going to get close to the max.

He's a horrible fit next to LMA due to his defense.

    LMA ....on the block?

Intriguing! But you've got to think that Detroit will be getting other sign-and-trade offers, so I'm not sure simply members of our league-worst bench are going to cut it. And it would be a huge mistake to give up any starter, especially Lopez.

Remember, Stan Van Gundy's running the show in Detroit now. You can't expect latter-day Dumars folly.

Agreed, and that's a deal-breaker (or should be).

Personally I think Monroe is a little overrated. A younger Al Jefferson. (Who, admittedly, had a good year last year...)

Blazers make big contract extension pitch to LA and now we hear the blazers want to sign and trade for Monroe. Is that a sign that LA resigning is in doubt?

Salary wise, I think the package will start with Batum.

I said before that one option would be trading LA and signing Monroe. I just find it interesting that this is coming out now.

LA for Wiggins and Monroe to replace him?
