Huh? Monroe is similar to Aldridge in size and talent. He is a monster who has never been taught defense. He has All-Star potential at C or PF. Hawes is a journeyman who is finally playing at his ceiling as a finesse 3-point shooting C.

Here's the thing with Monroe I love. He is even a better low post scorer than Aldridge; which means we will have two legit post scorers.

Here's what I hate about Monroe. His rebounding is inflated and doesn't make others around him better. Also, he is an even worse help defender than Aldridge.

Monroe would need to start, regardless if we trade Lopez or not. Our starting 5 just got much weaker defensively

Why do you think his rebounding is inflated? The guy is playing next to a rebound machine in Drummond.

Aldridge is not a center either.

The acquisition would require we trade our starter. I doubt Detroit takes anything less

Drummond demands attention on the rebounds, which allows Monroe to get easy ones

Monroe would also allow us to play centers one on one, as he did a better job than Robin covering guys in the post.

I did because I'm a huge fan of Drummond. Monroe is a beast on the low block. That part of his game is straight up money. Defensively, he's lazy and lackluster. He doesn't take it seriously

Last year he told me pekovic was a rim protector we needed, so I'd take center evaluation with a grain of salt.

So you are saying you would rather have Monroe than Lopez playing with Aldridge?

Quote me! I never said such a thing! I was never on board with signing pek.

I do remember you saying I was out of my mind thinking Aldridge could get 20/10. How did that work for you?

That's such bullshit! Lol. I'm on my phone, will find it later unless you find it first and edit it.

As to rebounding, Monroe was a better rebounder before Drummond got there, so no, it isn't because Drummond takes attention away

How much you wanna bet? Wager? $100?

And I won't edit shit cuz I know for a fact I hated pek from the day he was rumored. Anyway, you would see it's edited if I did

Can we also wager when you told me I was out of my mind for thinking Aldridge could average 20/10?

    http://sportstwo.com/threads/229538-Trying-to-grab-Pek-this-summer?highlight=pekovic

You started a thread on Pekovic. Saying it'd probably cost more than you want to spend.

    But then you said:

    And then...
I said he didn't protect the rim, you came back with this gem:

So, about that 100 dollars you owe me.
