Good for Livingston. He has really deserved a decent payday and would have gotten a monster contract if not for his freak injury.
The funny thing is if you asked the nets who would they rather have at 5m a year each Dwill or Livingston i'm pretty sure they would chose Livingston.
Tuesday night general manager Neil Olshey and head coach Terry Stotts met with free agent center Spencer Hawes in Los Angeles, Calif. Hawes is looking for a salary more substantial than what Portland can offer with its midlevel exception. Still, the prospect of playing in an offensive-friendly system and returning to his neck of the woods intrigues him. @ESPNSteinLine: Sad injury report out of Australia about NBA Finals favorite Patty Mills - http://bit.ly/1vumR3K That is too bad.
@ESPNSteinLine: Strong likelihood, I'm told, is Patty Mills re-signing w/San Antonio & taking 'til January to recover. Firmer diagnosis to come post-surgery @ESPNSteinLine: Spurs & Mills, I'm told, already talking new deal ... but injury bound to shrink what might've been promising market for flammable shooter
@Chris_Broussard: Sources: L Stephenson & Pacers at impasse. Indy offers 5 yrs/$44 mill. Lance wants more, will talk to others. Chi, LAL, Hornets interested. #sauces
HAHAHAHA please oh please let Lance to LAL happen. I can't wait to see Kobe punch him in the face on the sidelines
I would love to see him get overpaid in LA as well. Will be happy with any teams outside of Indy and Portland making that mistake though.
My buddy here in Indy absolutely hates him and all his antics. He's a Laker fan, so I can't wait to see his reaction if he goes to LA. PG's postgame interview after the MIA series when he talked about Lance's potential return to Indy next season was telling.
He officially rejected their offer. Lance will now seek a contract with another team. He clearly wants a near max deal.
I don't think he is expecting that he probably wants a similar deal to what Batum got something like 10-11 million a season not an average under 9.
