Bill Simmons had good idea for LAL, give Lance 2 year $32 million. Lets them keep pipe dream of Durant or other stud free agent coming to L.A. in two years.
Lance could be a flop or he could learn from Kobe and turn into a killer. I would then try and pair him with someone like Lowry. That is a hell of a back court. If you can find someone to take Nash then you open up some extra money for a nice move, if not you can still afford to bring back Gasol and then add a cheap Diantoni style bench around them. Lowry Stephenson Bryant Randle Gasol with Nash off the bench. That team has potential nothing near title potential but borderline playoff team is reachable. Plus then they would have a nice core of Lowry, Stephenson and Randle to add to.
seems to be a 20-25% overvaluation bump early on, there is obviously "risk" in waiting but could be some bargains available if patient, Blazers really can't over pay unless we do a sign and trade and I am thinking it is highly unlikely we can get Hawes for the MLE
Batum would be a max cat if he hit the market this summer. Ariza to get something near $10m/per?! Gtfoh!
Batum would likely get 4/51 on this market and Ariza should probably get 4/38. Batum's age and passing ability would provide the biggest boost in his salary when compared to Ariza.
Batum would get max now. He got 4/44 two years ago when he was a backup. Bradley and Meeks contracts are shocking.
Sounds like a coach's nightmare with three extremely volatile players who all want the ball in their hands. I think you need to stick to the Conley lovefest.
With Portland being such a good FA destination because of Lillard, Aldridge and our contebership, I am personally shocked we haven't signed anyone or had a sniff at a real FA. After all, with Olney, things have changed...LOL
Any players that have signed for the MLE that you think the Blazers should have got? Olshey only has so much to work with. Why do you have to be so negative about the Blazers al the time?
My father in law has cancer and has decided to just do everything he always wanted to do but held back on because he thinks he going to die. So he's started beating his wife and telling all the women in the homeowner's association they're raving morons. So if slagging off on the Blazers is the worst MM is doing, I think we should be happy.
If we had max available, I bet we could land a good free agent. If we had $12 mil available, those mentioned could easily be had. If you are going to use this analogy, at least compare us to the other teams that only have mle available
The lord giveth and the lord taketh away, while we all hope your father in law finds solace in beating his wife and acting misogynistic, I am not sure how this story relates to free agency or any potential health concerns MM might have. I personally want to wish MM the best of health.
I disagree and hope hell has a special section reserved for the abuser. ain't nothing satisfying about domestic viollence
