Getting close to the end of that time period and when done the Yankees will have completed 11 series. We currently see our team of choice winners of 2, losers of eight with one to play. Sure doesn't look good for a team hoping for playoff chances.
They have a lucky horse shoe up their butt for certain but if they don't turn the engine they will be cooked again this year. Saw your mention of Rios yesterday, Gardner, Ellsbury, and Rios would be one hell of an outfield when you add in Ichiro who can spell all three. I think though Rios at one time had a no trade to the Yankees don't know if that still holds.
...^^^first I have heard about the Rios NTC...hate to hear that it's still on. ...I mentioned Utley too...I think he'd be a good addition too. IMO, we need more production out of 3B and 2B. Sorry to see Solarte turn back into a pumpkin again.
He's looking good so far Turns 36 in December, not saying Chase would be a long term solution, but could help the Team right now Batting .293, with 27 Doubles, we could use some run production...!
That Phillies infield of the '09 World Series 3rd base excepted was a damn good unit. Rollins could be a little snippy but the man can play, ditto Howard. Utley missed time but it the Yankees could pick him it would be a solid gain for this team. In reality though I'd have to believe Utley stays a Philly.
I never heard of Howard juicing, saw him and Rollins in an interview with Costas both claimed they were clean. But Yankee fans need to be careful with that in light of Clemmens, Pettitte, and our absentee third baseman due back next year as one of the thousand points of light. On the other hand though if you are Major League you're suspect and allegedly the tests lag behind the products improvement.
Looks what lucky horseshoe the Yankees had up their butts fell out, lost 9 of 11 series, swept at home by a last place team, and under .500. Jumping Jesus Christ!
