Yeah it probably balances out between the two..................... Reynolds..........242 ABs, 13 HRs, 31 RBI, 211 BA, 85 Ks, 307 OBP, 397 SLG% Johnson...........161 ABs, 5 HRs, 19 RBI, 224 BA, 45 Ks, 304 OBP, 398 SLG%
Forget about rolling in his grave, I'd bet boss George is jumping up & down in his grave. "Watch your head George"
...tote, the other thing I forgot to include about trading D-Rob is that Betances has been just as valuable, if not more so in the 7-8th innings as he would have been as a closer. If you trade D-Rob and move Betances to the closer role, who becomes the dominant set up man?
I know. But we need a Price, Samardijza, Lee, etc. And would rather not give up too much young talent.
...I'd like any of those 3...but Price won't be had in return for a 3 month rental (he's under contract for 2015 too, so he'll cost whoever gets him a lot via a trade), plus he likely won't be traded within the devision. ...Lee still has elbow issues, so who knows with him?...Samardijza/Hammel/Utley/Rios make the most sense to me.
I did not watch the game today and had a stress free day. This team and Cashman create and give stress beware.
...Don't forget John Matuszak...not sure, but I think both Matuszak and Alzado had already damaged themselves when they played for the Cowboys and Broncos respectively.
Tom, are you saying Lyle was from Arkansas.....whoa....your in serious doo doo, with us Arkies that is......! Texarkana here I come.....!!! One of my fonder youngster Little League Memories came in Texarkana, when our Shreveport/Bossier City Team beat the CRAP out of Texarkana.....Yeppers....!!! Great Day to be a Kid, "Let's Play Two"...! BTW- I do love me Raiders, although I did root for the Bart Starr Packers in Super Bowl II, (how could anyone other than a Caly-fornian root AGAINST the GREAT Vince Lombardi Pack?), yet it was hard to go against Daryl Lamonica, Biletnikoff, Otto, Upshaw, Blanda, and Big Ben...and his unscruffle waxed handle bar mustachio... I did enjoy and loved the Beat Downs by the "Evil Dark Empire" of the - Vikings - (fed the Purple People Eaters Crow), the Eagles they Tar and Feathered in a 2nd half comeback, (poor Jaworski, tho' I came to love Dick Vermeil, one of the greatest UCLA Coaches, other than Wooden of course), the L.A. Raiders Scalping of the Redskins, and......I enjoyed Chucky's time in Oakland too.... I swear Brady did not have his hand going forward, it was knocked forward as he fumbled, in the 2001 AFC-Championship game...!!!
...one of the worst calls in the history of the game...and what made it so bad is that the officials had the advantage of instant replay. Brady was not only no longer in the "tuck" position, as he brought the ball back down he actually had BOTH hands on the ball a split second before Woodson hit him. ...no one can convince me that the call against the Raiders had something to do with the ongoing feud between the NFL Commissioners Office and Al Davis. The Raiders never really recovered after that game and it's been hard to watch them ever since. ...2:17 mark ...both hands on the ball just before he's hit;
THANK YOU, and Thank You, for the video. I agree, a painful crappy blown call. Clearly the worst Call I've ever seen in the NFL. The video and pic your provided, CEMENTS, the call as blown. The Game and Super Bowl belonged to the Raiders, NO DOUBT. Imagine how much revenue Al Davis lost, how many millions did Al get screwed out of??? I bet it was perhaps 50 X plus , what the blind Officials made in their lifetimes. Maybe more. There was NO excuse for that failure to review and over turn. No Championship Game in any sport should be decided by a blown call....the whole friggin point in Reviews. I also can't think of any other ambassador to the game, who got screwed on a more regular basis, by the NFL and Rozelle too, than Al Davis...a great man and mind...!!!
