It's complete bullshit. I've seen family members remarry women from Colombia and Vietnam. They had to jump through a billion hoops for the possibility for their kids and the wife to come over. Just allowing people to illegally come over is unfair to the rest of the people trying to migrate here.
The problem seems to be the rules making it difficult for wives and kids to come over. Or to legally come here, the waiting list is 24 years.
Sure, I can agree with that. But to make people trying to come here legally have to do so much, then letting these people freely come over and grant them amnesty is bullshit.
I think they should let anyone freely come over and live here. If they want to apply for citizenship, they can go through whatever process congress decides is proper. That would solve your family's issues and those of the "illegals"
I think we should know what the population of the US should be before immigrations laws are changed. However, any law the places the wife and or children of legal residents on a waiting list, is ridiculous. Unless it is for criminal activity or health reasons.
A little empathy and tolerance from conservatives, and a clean garage. I like to keep one achievable goal in my list.
What a load of BS. There's no racism indicated, nor is it an issue. Obviously, you don't care, or you'd adopt several. You're fine with forcing taxpayers (our children and grandchildren) to "adopt" them and eventually their extended families financially, work for lower wages and fewer benefits in dangerous conditions, and get used to continually spiraling crime and plunging property values. Step up and personally help the poor darlings, or stop spouting off. Either adopt them, or send them back home where they belong.
They are their country's lowest. They cheat their own countrymen who worked hard to come to America legally, piss on our laws while calling us racists, then steal our already meager social services from Real Americans who actually need help. I love immigrants. From any and all corners of the world. America IS Immigrants. But illegal aliens are not immigrants. They are more accurately liars, cheaters, and thieves. And I despise liars, cheaters, and thieves. We have effective laws to deal with them, and a President who was elected to enforce all of our laws. He has not.
Your usual strawman reply. My statement referred directly to child welfare, not overall violence. "...there is no country there that is as dangerous for children as say Detroit, New York, Chicago, DC, LA, or even Portland, OR..." I stand by it. Crimes against children are epidemic in nearly all major US cities, most large cities in the developed world for that matter. Not so much in South America, where the violence is mainly drug cartels killing each other and rebels killing soldiers and soldiers killing rebels. The CIA has a side in every one of these battles just to keep them going. Shut down the CIA and South America would find relative peace within a year.
