Wow! Thanks so much for the knowledge. I believe that you've provided this link before. I enjoyed my second watch. Have you watched it?

When Korver was here, he played both SG and SF in Thibodeau's offense. Did you notice any major difference in how he was used on offense when he was a SF vs when he was a SG? Me neither. Did you even think about him switching positions? Me neither. I'm sure that with your vast basketball knowledge that most basketball plays are "mirrored," that is, they can be run to either side, making the wings interchangeable. Oh well, great talking basketball with you.

Yes I saw a huge difference between how the SF and SG are used. Watch again and see those pocket passes to Lu, the SF in our offense.

The mirror thing is a nifty invention. Our SF plays low on either side.

Butler at SG took ~2x as many 3pt shots per 36 as he did at SF the season before.

At SF for us, Dunleavy took the fewest 3pt attempts per 36 since his 2006-2007 season.

Maybe they should have swapped positions.

As a SF, Dunleavy took 4.5 three-pt attempts per 36 minutes last season. As a SG, Butler took 3.3 three-pt attempts per 36 minutes last season. So what's your point again?

Butler took 2x as many 3s because there is a difference in the positions. Dunleavy took the same long range shots that Deng did, but took a step back to behind the 3pt line a little more often.

If the Bulls don't get a big name FA, look for them to dispose of their excess cap space in much the same way they did in 2010 after they "only" came home with Carlos Boozer, that is, to overpay one or more quality bench players with inflated one-year deals. I'd expect those one-year deals to include a second unguaranteed year that could make those contracts attractive as trade pieces next offseason.

This doesn't mean anything to me, because what are the chances Ariza signs at 6M-8M? I'll bet he goes 9M-11M, with there being a much better chance that he signs for more than that than he signs for less than that.
