I've somewhat posted this in another board but w/ the Pistons and T-Wolves struggling don't y'all think rumors will surface about KG possibly being traded and wouldn't the front runners be the Lakers or Pistons? I mean I have read rumors about LA to play w/ Kobe but the Pistons got the most connections to KG, not to mention they need a superstar especially after losing Big Ben. I know JMax could be the power forward of the future but if the Pistons want to win now I think they should really consider a trade. THey have 2 first round picks this year(which the T-Wovles might find enticing) and they could possibly send Sheed, Delfino, and Dupree for KG and possibly Rick Davis. I don't know it is all a fantasy for it to really happen but you never know what Joe D is planning. HoLLa baCk

I doubt that KG would be a Piston. The TWolves would be rebuilding, and getting Rasheed for KG isn't a smart move in rebuilding. I'd love to see KG in Detroit, but I don't expect it to happen.

KG is a superstar, Rasheed isn't. I would think Minnesota would have to get Billups in a package, or atleast Rip.

The only teams I see him being traded to are either the Bulls, Lakers, or Sixers.

I wish they could pull something like that off.Give up Sheed..and Dice..and Magic First this year. That's fine with me.I don;t see it happening though. I think Chicago would be a likely destination at the deadline. It would be the equivalent of us getting Sheed at the deadline a few years ago.

With consecutive losses and it seems that there is no improvement in the middle as the Pistons couldn't rebound or pick up loose balls. I mean Rasheed is doing as best as he can but Nazr keeps getting into early foul trouble. I mean I know the Pistons are still a top the Central at 11-7 but w/ a 4 game road trip coming up it could be trouble. I know this probably would not happen but I would love to see this trade:Detroit gets: Kevin Garnett, Ricky DavisMinnesota gets: Rasheed Wallace, Carlos Delfino, Orlando's 1st rd pick and/or Pistons 1st rd pickI mean the salaries probably wouldn't work out and there might have to be a 3rd team involved. I think Joe D is looking right now what is out there, why not look at the teams struggling and players who are looking to help win a title. HoLLa baCk

If the Timberwolves trade Garnett they will officially enter rebuilding mode. For the most part the core of the Pistons are in their prime and the draft picks won't be high. The Timberwolves won't be interested. And like I said, KG will not be traded during the season this year.

But this would never work. I could see KG going to a team like Atlanta to play along side Joe Johnson. I would think that Minny would want to rebuild because this team isnt going anywhere any time soon...Atlanta wouldnt trade Josh Smith, but I bet you that they could get alot of their young talent....

nope, I dont see KG going to ATL.ATL is at a perfect rebuilding stage with Joe Johnson, Josh Childress, Marvin Williams, Shelden Williams, and Josh Smith. the only thing they need is a point guard.but for KG coming to Detroit,I actually see us trading Delfino in that kind of deal. as much as I would hate to see him go.

We have a better chance at landing AI then we do at getting KG at this point. Actually, I see neither person getting traded to the pistons. That is because they will get no where near equal value for their trade.

There is no way Davidson will want to pay the salaries of AI or KG and I highly doubt Joe Dumars is willing to give up Rasheed or anyone else to get those players. Just forget about the pistons getting any big name players w/ big contracts.

When Ben left, I think that Joe had a revelation that players are all about money now. I don't think he'd hesitate to trade anyone on the Pistons if he thinks we are going to get the better side of the deal.
