    The Yankees don't have anything to trade for a guy like Price. Tampa is not taking the Yankees crap and the JR Murphys of the world aren't cutting it. Unless you want to start the deal with something like Betances it's not worth discussing.

    ...I don't recall anyone saying it was not possible...improbable maybe. That article is nothing but some hacks opinion, no more or no less than ours...and I did not see ONE quote in that article by anyone from within the Rays organization.

    ...if someone completely blew the Rays away with a ridiculous package, yes, I'm sure they would trade him within the division...I don't believe the Yanx are capable of making that kind of deal...if they do, you'll get a mea-cupla then. :lol:

    Heyman showed a possible package the Dodgers could offer, I've also heard St. Louis could do the same. If I had a GM who wished to trade Price within the Division I'd have to fire him. Living in Tampa I've heard Price whine about the Yankees Facial Hair policy on more than one occasion.

    chances are they'd still rather not, but if it's the best deal they would...Yankees don't have the prospects to match up with other teams for Price, I wonder if they could bring in a third team
