They have bigger stars though and Bosh compliments Howard very well. Harden seems to need a 3rd go to guy to help him mesh with DHO also..... Actually the Harden DHO dynamic is the key IMO.

The chance to get 4 straight championships would have been too irresistible to ignore. It would give him something that even MJ didn't do. I'm sure he would have gone back to Cleveland after that but they wouldn't have passed on 4 straight.

New Strategy for the Blazers. Trade LA and Dame for future first round picks and young talent. Tank and get a couple high lottery picks. Then after four years re-sign Dame and win a title.

I'm sure they didn't plan it this way, but Cleveland is likely better off in the long term by James leaving and coming back. They weren't winning with him in round 1, but now they have a huge title window and lots of young talent.

Bigger name stars? Yes. However, I think our stars mesh better together and the chemistry between them is fantastic. Houston still doesn't have a true PG but they sure as hell have a ball stopper and McHale as their HC. This is looking like when the Lakers got Howard...

Why wouldn't Cleveland now go for a S&T with Miami for Bosh for Wiggins/parts? I suspect they would try to go the Love way, but if they want to make LBJ happy, just get him Bosh as well...

Bullshit. Lebron's a front-running pussy like he always has been. He's only going home because Irving and Love make a better trio at this point that Wade/Bosh, and now he gets to pretend to be loyal so that Ohio loves him again.

Maybe Lebron doesn't want Bosh. I bet they're giving him say in personal.

He wants his kids to grow up where he did and I don't mean 4 years from now. LeBron is not as shallow as you think. He left to get at least 1 title but he isn't after records imo.

I agree with you about rings because his legacy is cemented in history, but you damn well know he wants to finish with the most points ever, or join the 30,000-10,000-10,000 club.

And wiggins learning how to be a champ with lebron is better than any coaching staff. Can we get some of this karma for all our bad luck too?!

I doubt Cle wins a 'ship with the current team. They need one more immediate impact player - and Bosh/Love is their best way of getting a new big 3 and being the real front-runner for the championship.

And Wiggins has done nothing so far, he might be an all time great, he might not be anything, who knows. There is no way in hell Miami does a S&T if they do not get something real - and Wiggins is what Cle has to offer now.

I agree that they need an impact player but I do not believe Bosh would be worth the price tag of Wiggins still, Love is though. Still, if I were Cleveland I'd try to keep Wiggins and still obtain Love (Waiters, Bennett, Thompson, Heat pick and Cavs pick).

Fuck. Now HOU gets better, but very happy for my CLE friends. I graduated and left the city in 2010 along with Bron, but could still feel how hard they all took it.

I'm not saying 4 years from now. I'm saying if the Heat had won the championship Lebron, Wade and Bosh wouldn't have opted out. They would have stayed together for one more year. Then Lebron would have left.

Why stop there? Why wouldn't he have stayed again (re-signed) to go for 5?
