What team during this offseason is worse than last year? Who did the most damage to themselves? This can be a team that made the playoffs last year and won't make it this year or can be a team that was already horrible and just making a bigger hole to get out of in the future? What team made the worst transactions, the worst team decisions, the most amount of bad luck, the most significant injury??I'll answer later on. Let others give thier opinions first.

Memphis easily hurt themselves, and if this topic was posted during pre-season I would have said the Warriors, but they're looking pretty good right now. I think Seattle hurt themselves as well by drafting Sene.

San Antonio possibily. They lost Nazr Mohammed to free agency and Rasho Nesterovic to trade. Brent Barry, Bruce Bowen, Robert Horry, and Tim Duncan are all a year older now. But, on the flip side, Manu Ginobili had an off year last year, and is going to be back on track. Beno Udrih is improving behind the speedy Tony Parker. They also acquired Matt Bonner, Jackie Butler, Francisco Elson, and Eric Williams, and now James White. It's tough to say, it's almost even. Not many teams have gotten worse this year.Sacramento is worse. They lost Bonzi Wells and got John Salmons. Not an improvement at all. They also lost their excellent coach Rick Adelman.

People act like Gasol got a Amare injury. Hes going to be back earlier than people think, hes already started rehab on the ankle and is doing exercises to build the muscles up again. So Memphis defiently got hurt, but I think this topic is more for the teams who got worse by moves and free agency and such. And im sure we wont be lottery

I bet the Grizzlies will be in the lottery. They can't make the playoffs without Pau for half a year, especially with teams like the Kings, the Warriors, and the Hornets trying to get in.

I in no way think Spurs got worse at all. Their better imo with the additions they made. James White/Jackie Butler will provide good youth, Elson is the type of big they need alongside Duncan. Oberto has been picking up the slack and playing better with Nazr/Rasho out of the way. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sacramento is worse. They lost Bonzi Wells and got John Salmons. Not an improvement at all. They also lost their excellent coach Rick Adelman.</div> One reason they got rid of Bonzi and didn't overpay is simply Kevin Martin. Also, Adelman left the writing on the wall for the past 2 years with rumors of him being fired. The team needed a change, and Adelman had to go. For me, judging the games I've seen. It's too hard right to see who got worse because many teams have been inconsistent so far. One team will win a big game one day, then lose another the next. I'll answer this as the season gets further along.

Were not going to be lottery if he comes back good.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Who cares about the reasons? The Kings are worse than they were last year.</div> Well I think increased minutes of Kevin Martin and backups of Salmons, Garcia, Price, and Douby is just as good as with Bonzi from last year. They don't look worse at all with their play so far.

Kevin Martin is improving a ton, but I think I'd rather have Bonzi over the Salmons & Douby.

Detroit, Memphis and Sacramento will be worse teams imo. They're the obvious ones.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kevin Martin is improving a ton, but I think I'd rather have Bonzi over the Salmons & Douby</div> With Bonzi, Martin's improvement slows. The Kings had to choose: overpay Bonzi when they have a young stud at the same position or go with the youth and get better suited backups, all at a cheaper price. I'm looking at their movements from all angles, it benefits them now imo and down the line as well.
