They can rebuild pretty quickly if they really wanted this summer. From what I can gather, all they have on their roster is: Cole/McRoberts/Granger/Napier Bring back Wade/Bosh and see if you can lure away Melo, and you've still got a top team in the east.
The ones listed by LeBron in his SI piece. Varajao, Thompson, LeBron, Wiggins, Irving. If they need to play LeBron at PF, they can move Waiters into the lineup at SG in place of Thompson.
Replace Lebron with Melo. . . interesting idea. Obviously Meol isn't LeBron but does fit with the make up of Miami and a bunch of vets.
The emoji is what sells it for me. I like to imagine Rubio hoping all this time that LeBron's eventual decision would be to play for Minnesota and that he's devastated today by the news.
I can't help but keep thinking about Lebron not mentioning Wiggins in his piece. Lebron is to smart to make a mistake like that unless it was on purpose so it makes me think that there is a trade for a big name coming to the Cavs in a trade for Wiggin. Wiggins for Bosh, Wiggins for Love, Wiggins for Horford and Korver, Wiggins for LMA (this one I actually think that PA would say no to).
i noticed that right away too, seems logical i guess, his signing might have been contingent on them shopping wiggins for a star
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...s-not-mentioned-in-lebron-james-announcement- Now, this doesn't all of a sudden mean that Wiggins is headed to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Kevin Love trade. The rookie's camp doesn't believe he's going anywhere, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears. Maybe the veteran James just didn't want to shout out young guys who haven't proven anything at the NBA level. Anthony Bennett, last year's first overall pick, is absent, too. It's just notable because Wiggins, even if he hasn't played a single pro game, is potentially a future star and obviously a part of the Cavaliers' core as constructed. You'd have thought his name would be in there.
I think Neil has answered this question. But if you are the Blazers and you know the Cavs are looking to get better on the front line and you have potentially an amazing player available to you in a trade in Wiggins. How tempting is this? You have a player I'm thinking Cleveland would take for Wiggins.
