Isiah Thomas is getting 4/27....but we could have lured him with the MLE....right? Also the Suns are apparently getting him in a S/T. Do these guys not want Bledsoe? What are they doing? Bledsoe is a much better player. Also: [TWEET]487712747010793472[/TWEET] We could have gotten Nick Young I guess, although I'm not sure I'd rather Young than Kaman.
Damn no kidding. Hill is not as bad as some were saying on this board, but 9 million a year? Lopez must be drooling....
Are we sure that David Kahn isn't pulling the strings in Phoenix? Are they trying to have an entire team of PGs? Remember they also drafted Ennis.
Jordan Hill at $9M per shows how Lakers were willing to overpay for guys on short-term deals. Hill could be Byron Scott's defensive center. Read more: http://hoopshype.com/twitter/media.html#ixzz37CZyGPHf That makes more sense. Everything the Lakers are doing is geared towards making a big splash the summer after Kobe's contract expires. So they will over pay to get shorter contracts.
No real excuse to overpay by that amount though. You can get someone to fill his spot if we wouldn't take 5, or 6. Or, save your cap space to use for asset acquisition like they did for Lin. then when you make a push for Durant, you can have a few picks to throw people's way for another star or something.
So basically the Lakers are committed to at least 2 years of 25-35 win (at best) basketball? I fucking love it lol

Yes they are. Olshey will have a lot of reasonable contracts and interesting pieces that should give him flexibility and enable him to make trades in the future, if the deal is right.
