FINALLY - Las Vegas league begins! So much better to watch - good lighting, good camera angles, a crowd of sorts. Ooh look - Derek Fisher as a coach!

Full house, every seat taken. Wiggins back in for Cleveland, makes first shot, but Anthony Bennett makes the spectacular dunk. David Blatt from Israel working the side, coaching Jabari Parker.

Isn't Blatt the coach for the Cavs?

You are so right, El Sahib. A thousand apologies.

You know, something just occurred to me. LeBron has a rookie Head Coach!

Maybe I should read the long boring threads.

Jabari makes a couple of tough short shots. Heavy guy.

Boy, for a pair of back-to-back top picks, Bennett and Wiggins are pretty anonymous so far. Jabari Parker showing some moves.

The Greek Freak is a taller, better Wiggins.

So far. In Summer League. Game 1.

One to ponder: if the Cavs had known they'd get Lebron, would they have taken Jabari Parker? Makes sense to have the guy who's clearly ready right now.

85-90 degrees inside the gym. A long line of fans outside couldn't get into the full house. Players gasping for water.

39-35 Bucks, 44 seconds till halftime. Parker has better stats so far than Wiggins, who came out missing 3s but also had a couple of flashy defensive moments.

39-37 halftime. In the short interview, Parker speaks like a dunderhead as usual, answering a question that wasn't asked. He is gasping from the heat like all of them.

They both look pretty good right now. As does the Greek Freak. We should have drafted him...

Antetokounmpo is unreal. He's easily Kevin Durant size now. It's like two strides from the three point line to the hoop. Man, CJ better be good this year.

With no game-destroying, quarter-long interview, Reggie Miller has taken it upon himself to lecture us about what a rookie needs to do. Hey Fuck, I'm not in the league! Stop repeating yourself! Stop talking over the play by play guy. He's in a pissy mood. Cover this game!

Miller stopped the heavy John Thompson intonations. This is a disciplined, plodding, but well-played game. A lot of missed shots, a few but not many spectacular moments.

Dan Gilbert just did an unscripted interview with the NBA TV guys during this game. No real news, other than the re-iterated that he and LeBron James had a great 5 years, and then one bad night.

Ended it by saying "I'm going to get into trouble with my people now." I assume for not having a scripted interview.

I may be too lazy to look it up, but my intentions are pure.
