    K.C. Johnson @KCJHoop

Tom Thibodeau has pushed hard for Kirk Hinrich's return. GM Gar Forman called re-signing Hinrich "a priority" at season's end.

Chicago, Charlotte pursuing deals with free agent guard Kirk Hinrich, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

And here I thought Thibodeau knew something about basketball. ;)

Pictures. Compromising position. The risk is he's in a key game shooting free throws that count.

How'd he do last time he was at the FT line with the game on the line?

    Fact based.

By this measure, a great player could be reduced to shit. Kinda silly.

Note: Hinrich's nowhere near a great player.

    Agree agree and agree.

"26 times I have been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed."

    -- Michael Jordan

Certainly not comparing the players. Just saying that's the thing about needing a game winning shot, free throw or not.

Conversely, someone could say that game in March where he drained 5 of 6 from beyond the arc makes him a great player (it doesn't). One game sample.

Larger sample? Decent but unspectacular offensive player. Knows the system well. Disruptive defender. Coming off a rather unimpressive season.

The funny thing is we expected MJ to make those shots. Hell, he made free throws with his eyes closed.

When Kirk went to the line, it was depressing because I just knew he'd miss. And I really felt sorry for him because of all that he used to mean to the franchise when he was a pretty good player.
