he's pretty confident doc will be fired. let's hope he's right."The following night, we blew a 25-point lead in Cleveland in the span of about three seconds -- it would have been an unbelievable collapse except for the fact that everyone who follows this team could see it coming a mile away."SO true.EDIT: the more I read on, the more I agree with simmons. it's like he's saying everything that goes on in my head that I can't translate to words.
yeah simmons did a great job with this piece, so true, I also liked the fact how he called out Doc and what he says about the team during press conferences. Putting the blame on random players when in reality it was his fault they were put in that position. Also the pick and roll defense set ups. Man like you said dogma, everything he said I think about all the time. Also I like how he brings up how Pierce has been playing a little bit selfish lately and how he transitioned from being a very dynamic scorer/team player earlier last year looking for open guys but lately has been shooting too much and turning the ball over. A sign of a coach losing touch with his players. VERY good point by Simmons. His humor also, comparing Doc's coaching methods to that of a hockey team. It's true too, wayyyyy to many subs. I hope Doc just resigns, I think Danny will wait too long to pull the trigger on firing his ass.
