Mo is to good to be a 3rd string PG.

Like you said, I think the Blazers need 3 PGs. Lillard, Blake and Mo being almost combo guards . . . or a young PG with potential who can play in case of injury.

For 3 million a yr, would he accept it. Plus he can play some SG. He has shown he can play with either Wes or Lillard. Not a stretch to think he can play with Blake too. I get the idea of developing CJ, but Blazers are in a win now mode. CJ will have to earn his minutes . . . Blazers have him for another 3-4 yrs

He CAN play SG. He really shouldn't though. I swear that Mo/Lillard backcourt accounted for like a third of our defensive struggles.

There's simply no way to keep Mo happy. It's not possible.

Let's say Dame plays 36 minutes (his average). Wes plays 34 (his average). That leaves a grand total of 26 minutes to share between the two backup spots. Are you going to play Blake and Mo each 13 minutes? I don't think either of them would be happy with that arrangement. Mo played 25 minutes per game last season. Blake was a starter for the Lakers.

On Mo Williams potentially coming to the Mavericks: Nelson: “Yeah we’ve been trying to figure out a way to get Mo in a Maverick uniform for years now. He’s a Dallas guy, from Memphis but live in Dallas with his family, so we’re hopeful that we can work something out but again our hands are tied right now because of the Parsons thing of what we can do financially. All these guys, whether it’s Mo, whether it’s ‘Trix, in all reality they’re going to have to take a payout to come here. It’s just how much of a pay cut are guys willing to look at and we’re understanding and respectful of the market place and there’s other places that may have more playing time and more financial flexibility that we do, but we would love for both of those guys to continue to consider us.” Dallas Morning News

I wonder if Mo would consider returning to Cleveland?

If the basket is empty for him, we would be smart to offer him a one year deal at 3.15MM with a team option for a second year.
