Here's mine, subject to change. Tough decision to put in Parsons over Beal, but I think we need a third SF for injury reasons and all of the PGs can play backup SG. In: Derrick Rose, PG (Chicago Bulls) Damian Lillard, PG (Portland Trail Blazers) Kyrie Irving, PG (Cleveland Cavaliers) DeMar DeRozan, SG (Toronto Raptors) Stephen Curry, SG (Golden State Warriors) Kevin Durant, SF (Oklahoma City Thunder) Paul George, SF (Indiana Pacers) Chandler Parsons, SF (Dallas Mavericks) Blake Griffin, PF (Los Angeles Clippers) Kevin Love, PF (Minnesota Timberwolves) Anthony Davis, PF/C (New Orleans Pelicans) Andre Drummond, C (Detroit Pistons) Out: Klay Thompson, SG (Golden State Warriors) James Harden, SG (Houston Rockets) Gordon Hayward, SF (Utah Jazz) Kyle Korver, SF (Atlanta Hawks) Kenneth Faried, PF (Denver Nuggets) DeMarcus Cousins, C (Sacramento Kings)
Very possibly how it will shake out, but I hate Harden's defense so much that I couldn't put him on. Not thrilled with Korver's defense either.
Merge? http://sportstwo.com/threads/266965-Team-USA-Updates-thread Historically, they've taken 3 PGs. Kyrie probably makes it because of his history with Coach K and Duke, and he tore up Dame in that select team scrimmage last year. Curry is probably the best PG on the list and he has been on the team before. So I really think it comes down to Rose v Dame. If Rose is healthy, I think Dame unfortunately gets the snub -- and he's gonna go HAM on the league because of it. This is prolly gonna be the roster: PG: Curry/ Kyrie/ Rose SG: Harden/ Klay/ Beal SF: Durant/ George PF: Blake/ Love/ Faried C: Davis/ Cousins/ Drummond
