Who was blaming Hibbert and George? I'm referring to Hibbert blaming the Indy and his collapse on "selfish players" AKA Lance. While George and West remained silent, they didn't exactly come to Lance's defense and I got the impression teammates more sided with Hibbert's comments. If Hibbert plays bad, no one for him to blame this time with Lance being gone. Well i guess he can blame someone, but it seemed clear he was referring to Lance last season.
Tough to say. They would be in the same class as the Suns, Grizzlies and Mavs. They have some quality depth.
I don't think the mavs are in the same class win suns and grizz. Mavs are going to be scary. If anything, the rockets are now the team in that 3 team chase for 8th
The Mavs made good moves but they're full of guys who don't exactly stay healthy anymore (Felton, Harris, Dirk and Chandler)
I don't think the Mavs are scary at all. Dirk isn't a superstar anymore. Harris and Felton are a joke. Chandler is injury prone. Is Chandler Parsons supposed to elevate that team from the 8th spot?
Well they were an 8 seed last season who improved, regardless of how big or small an improvement it was. The rockets on the other hand got much weaker. I don't think the mavs can get the rockets 4 spot, but they can easily have the better record. 1. Spurs 2. Clippers 3. Blazers 4. Thunder 5. Warriors 6. Grizzlies 7. Mavs 8. Rockets And don't get me wrong, Houston is still a very good team.
Problem is, so did the Pelicans. If you should be afraid of someone, it's the Pels. They have a ton of talent and they got Asik for next to nothing. If they can stay healthy, they could easily make the playoffs. Jrue Holiday Eric Gordon Ryan Anderson Anthony Davis Omer Asik With Tyreke Evans coming off the bench. The Suns also got better. Denver should be improved. The Kings look good too. The West is going to be a mess next season. We will be lucky to get 54 wins again.
That's true, I didn't even think about the Pels. They could be a playoff team for sure. Knocking out one of the last 3. I think the top 5 are playoff locks. Suns will be a playoff contender, Denver and Kings will have to settle with best of the worst. Basically there's a huge cluster fuck of Dallas, Houston, Pelicans, Suns, Grizzlies.
DeJuan Blair's deal with Washington will be three-years, $6M -- with a team option on third year, league source tells Yahoo Sports. These 2 yr contracts (or 3 yr with team option) are becoming real popular.
Wes Johnson is still available. He looked decent in LA. Not getting a lot of attention. I'd look at him for the vet minimum - SF depth.
