Dwight needed time to get used to everything, of course man he can out of HS. But right now, he has not "surpassed" Okafor.3. LMFAO!!!!!! You think that just because Dwight dunks on someone more often that has to do with their overall strength? HAHAHA! Gerald Green last year, was PUSHING 200 lbs. (tall, lanky kid) and he dunks on people. Is he stronger than Emeka too? Give me f*cking break. You have to be kidding me.4. Okafor doesn't demand the ball at all! Again, you have to be kidding me. He gets more touches in the post, sure, but he is a better post player than Dwight right now, hands down.5. OK, Okafor hasn't won 30 games yet. OK, cool. But also note that he came into a brand new franchise. The first game Emeka played in the NBA was the first game the Charlotte Bobcats played too.</div>Obviously that means he has more strength CB32, c'mon man use your head, if you can't dunk on someone; you aren't strong. It is common sense.

Lots of times, dunking on people just has to do with who has more momentum going to the rim, and explosiveness. He has more explosivness and a better leaping ability than Emeka Okafor does, making him dunk more often. If he boxes someone out all the way under the board, over and over again, that would make him stronger.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pacers fan forever @ Nov 18 2006, 07:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>If you read my post you would see that I said Dwight will average 15 in the near future. That means 1-2 years from now.Dwight took longer to get used to the NBA. Okafor came off winning a college title. Dwight came off winning a high school title. Naturally, it was going to take Dwight longer to get adjusted to the NBA. But now he's caught up and surpassed Okafor. Are you kidding me? Dwight dunks on someone every night. Okafor dunks on someone when he's being guarded by a 6 foot nothing player. Okafor is not as strong as Dwight. Some of this is due to injury and excess wheight. Howard doesn't complain about scoring only 10 in a game if he wins. Okafor demands the ball and hasn't won over 30 games in a season yet.</div>LMAO! Pacersfan just give up. Your making yourself look like an idiot again like in the pacers-Lakers thread. I would've ripped your posts to shreds but I see CelticBalla alreayd did it. BTW is anyone else so suprised that Danny Granger isn't averaging even close to 2 spg and 2 bpg? I mean I was sure he was gonna do it this season [IMG] Sorry to get off-topic but I couldn't resist.

It's worth noting here too that Okafor has 15/11 and 8 blocks through three quarters so far tonight.

I think if both teams went back to the draft I dont think they would have done anything different. Both players are stars and I think they're happy with who they selected to this day.

Okafor is blocking shots to other solar systems right now. I am not saying that Howard isn't a good shotblocker, but Okafor has better footwork and fundamentals on defense in my opinion. This debate will continue throughout the entire season, but if he stays healthy I think Okafor will win it.
