The vast majority of people who believe in God define him as something apart from and responsible for the (non-natural) creation of everything constituting the "natural" world, so by most definitions God is necessarily a supernatural being with abilities that transcend anything possible in the natural world.

A super smart alien might conceivably have what less advanced beings would consider "God-like" abilities, but that doesn't have much to do with philosophical concepts of God or natural vs. supernatural.

Also not sure how you are relating quantum entanglement (superposition?) and omnipresence. Even if an individual particle might (theoretically) have an uncolapsed wave function spanning the universe it seems like the wave function of "me" has to be pretty well collapsed to one location in order for me to have a functioning physical brain.

Well if you don't believe in a soul, since you have openly expressed this in countless other threads; manifesting from one part of the universe to another would be as simple as saving information onto a disc and loading it to another computer.

Essentially, all the program can "teleport" from one place to another.

As far as your "religion says" could be no more than one not understanding what reaction took place therefor "God did it".

And it could be explained on an eternal consciousness actually being reality, because consciousness could just a program swapping from one reality to another

if it were possible to quantum teleport the information in my brain from one part of the universe to another that would not be omnipresence. at best that would just be making a copy of my consciousness somewhere else.

An isolated Amazon tribesman would think a cell phone was God-like. I don't see the point. Obviously we know the potential exists within nature for advanced beings to have what primitives would consider god-like abilities. You're just describing how primitive people reacted pre-science.

What could be explained? Are you trying to use quantum entanglement as a gateway to Pantheism? That's an interesting subject but there's zero evidence for that that would need explaining, and it has nothing to do with theism or explaining why people are theists.

Actually this really isn't me trying to prove God exists, but since we've had our debates before, I guess you just assumed as such.

Actually, I was explaining, maybe the concept of God isn't "supernatural". Maybe the Concept of God is just someone that has solved enough of the natural world to be considered one.

Try thinking outside the box bro and let's go deep into theory. No need to get all defensive and discredit any opinion from a creationist.

I wasn't. It's just not clear what you're asking about.

"the Concept of God is just someone that has solved enough of the natural world to be considered one" is nonsensical because if such a being existed they would not be considered "God" by modern humans. they would be considered exactly what the are - a super intelligent alien having nothing to do with the "concept of God" held by modern theists.

I'd love to get into pantheism (the physical universe itself is conscious in some way). It's a way more interesting and somewhat more plausible theory than theism.

Oh really? So if some being could move planets and create galaxies in front of your eyes wouldn't move you?

I wouldn't be so overwhelmed with awe that I would assume it was "God", no. My first thesis would be that it was a super intelligent physical being of some kind (hopefully one named Lucy that looked like Scarlett Johansson).
