Yes well apparently the interwebs need a constant reminder of genetic program vs. Choice, lol! Tomatoes are polyploidy, so with crosses such as this you actually have both intact genomes at work. So yes, in a way they are choosing to be '59 tomatoes'. Contrast this to a GMO engineered variety where specific genes from the Roma would be inserted to replace the corresponding genes in the cherry. GMO process selects for the removal of unwanted recessive traits, gets you to the master race of tomatoes faster. But the cross/natural process can theoretically get you there given enough time. You're a scientist and didn't even know it.
I agree that coyotes are beneficial but they could go after pets. I've trapped & relocated squirrels, ground hogs, & racoons... I drive them an hour away to work... let them loose there...
