McCann I expected to get night off. Tex has been awful and needed a night off. I am sure we will hear how his wrist is sore. Problem is Johnson playing 1st (Ugh) and batting 5th (DOUBLE UGH).We really need a better option.

...Jetes, I'd rather have you at 1B and batting 5th.

MLB just reported: Tex will be off for the next 3-4 games, with a "mild lower lat strain".

something tells me Tex isn't right, and I don't mean physically either...!

Tex reaks of being the product of past PED abuse. He's breaking down.

...like him or not, this team would really be in trouble without what he has contributed...though his numbers are down, so is everyone else's a and there's really no one else on the roster that can replace what he offers on offense and defense. Like I said, his numbers are down but he still leads the team in several categories which is an indictment on the rest of the team...I can't imagine what their record would be if Kelly f'n Johnson had been at 1B all year.

Yankees have had their share of injuries but time for some people to step up when it counts. Just took advantage of Cincinati missing their left side. Go one game at a time, as Kristoferson wrote "Yesterday is dead and gone, and tomorrows out of sight. It would also help if Cashman by some miracle of God could come up with a couple of deals.

as i mentioned in the other "Cashman" post-

If this were a poker game, Cashman is either bluffing, and has nothing more than a pair of deuces in his hand, if he has even that, which I doubt....

Cashman is nothing without his blank check book....you'd think King George would of kept a tighter leash on Brian, than to allow him to think he's always got that blank check book....! Development of our Minor Lg. System has been a travesty as of late, both Cashman and the Director of Minors need to be axed....!

If this were Cashman playing 1 armed bandits, the outcome would be similar to this: :comppunch:
