    From Andrew Gross:

"Despite my earlier report of hearing going on as scheduled, Rangers and Chris Kreider have settled on a two-year deal for $2.35M/$2.6 M"

    About right I think.

We cannot complain about a 2.45 mill cap hit per season. That is a good deal all around. And he will still be an RFA in two years, so we can still have him under control which is good.

Now go score 25 or so goals and you'll get bigger money in two years.

Exactly...you want elite money go out and earn it. Be the 1st line winger this team desperately needs.

Nice signing for the rangers with kreids at just under 2.5 per. Now hopefully brass doesn't break the bank but I think what he'll be looking for will insure he is the one ranger that actually does end up in arbitration. If we can get a reasonable contract here maybe we can sign the BC kid (can't think of his name at the moment) for some more youth and depth.

Nice deal for both parties. Time for Kreider to step up and be a stud.

He won't break the bank, he'll get around 4.3 which is fair for his age and decent progression. Hayes is the kid your referring to, but I heard they reached the signing limit of 50 so that may preclude it, hopefully they can find a way.
