I don't think Joel is going to play much next season. There's barely going to be enough minutes for Robinson.
You're probably right, which made me think about this. Our second unit in 2012-2013 - Maynor/Barton/Claver/Babbitt/Leonard Our third unit in 2014-2015 - Barton/Crabbe/Claver/Freeland/Leonard Our pine-riders now are better than our primary reserves from two years ago. Granted, it was the worst bench in league history, but still...
The New Orleans Pelicans have struck a deal to sign sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette, according to sources close to the process. Sources told ESPN.com that the Pelicans and Fredette have agreed to terms on a one-year deal at the league minimum I like that signing for the minimum and where the Pelicans are heading.
While both the Cavs and The Blazers were denied this exception for Kyrie/Lillard iv heard the league is pondering this a great deal because of how great the Pelicans argument of "Come on he is short and white" is.
Mike Bresnahan: Busy day for the Lakers, who reached agreement with Ryan Kelly, Xavier Henry and Wesley Johnson. Not many roster spots left.
The Lakers have one true Center on their roster: http://espn.go.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/lal/los-angeles-lakers
The Boston Celtics have reached an agreement with Evan Turner, according to the Boston Herald Evan Turner has agreed upon a contract with the Boston Celtics, according to sources. Turner will sign for a portion of the Celtics' midlevel exception. Turner finished last season with the Indiana Pacers after starting his career with the Philadelphia 76ers
If he's not out for the season, Rashard would be a nice pickup on a vet minimum salary. He's a solid role player at this point in his career. He single handedly saved the Heat in a couple of those Pacer games by going crazy from the 3-point stripe.
Interesting take I heard early this morning. (Kinda free agency)... What if the Lakers know something we don't? Could they not have a coach right now because they are waiting for Doc Rivers to leave the Clippers? Its stupid on the Lakers part to bank on it, but really fun to think about.
Has their been any indication that Rivers wants to leave the Clippers since the NBA took the team away from Sterling? It seems beyond unlikely to me that Rivers would leave over Sterling's comments when Sterling has been removed from the franchise. But I'm not sure if I've missed a development since then.
