Spurs Trade: Francisco ElsonPistons Trade: Carlos DelfinoSpurs why?: They are an old team, and Delfino is a pretty young player. People have also compared Delfino to Manu Genobili, so what better then to play alongside him? They also open a spot for Jackie Butler and Matt Bonner to get more playing time, two youngsters on the roster.Pistons why?: The Pistons don't have a real backup center. Dale Davis isn't as scrappy and tough as he used to be, and Rasheed and McDyess are power forwards. An Elson/Muhammed combo would be solid for the Pistons. They could also give more minutes to either Ronald Dupree who is a good hustle player, or to Amir Johnson (remember the name).

Horrible for the Spurs. Elson most likely earned his spot over Butler in training camp, so I don't think your reason is valid. Althoguh I would love to see the Spurs get as many Argentina players as possible, Delfino just wouldn't fit in right now. Barry and Finley have the 2/3 pretty well taken care of and as far as young guys go, James White may get some minutes somewhere down the road. Once again great deal for the Pistions, haha.
