As I'm sure most of you have been noticing, Monta Ellis has been playing great so far this season. He's only 19 and he's averaging 16 ppg so far for the Warriors and shooting above 50% from the field. So far it has appeared Nellie is going to be consistently giving him playing time and I'm betting he keeps this up. I think there's a very good chance he'll become a 20+ ppg scorer and probably more.

Monta Ellis is very quick, and he is a very, very talented scorer. Of course I think he will become a 20+ ppg scorer in the future, and that total might be closer to 30 than 20 actually. He is going to be a great player, and it was a great pick.

I've been saying it for ages, and it's true. The kid will be an all-star.

Well the biggest knock on him was always that he was a tweener and wouldn't be able to guard pros. It was also said alot that his jumper was inconsistent.I'm not sure how he looks defensively (I've only watched one Warriors game this season), but judging by his stats, he's proving people were wrong about his scoring abilities.

Well, at the end of last season, him and Diogu got a bunch of minutes and crushed everyone. I'm actually surprised Diogu doesn't look alot better this year as well.

Andris Biedrins has been another real impressive guy for the Warriors. Still only 20, but he's proven capable of holding down that starting center position for them. Golden State is looking pretty good this season. They have a great, but small starting lineup, they displayed the other night against the Kings (not sure if it was just to match the Kings' though), with Murphy and Dunleavy coming off the bench.

he's really coming into his own. and it helps having a coach that cares about productivity more than reputation. good for him.

What was he, a 5th overall pick or something? Alot of young centers start slow, but yeah, he's definately coming into his own.

Leon Powe anyone? Impressed me A LOT so far in the time he's gotten. Proven he can be a banger on the boards.

But I have my questions about him... 1) can he keep up with the long NBA season, and 2) will he hit a wall.

Ellis has obviously been stepping up his game since late last year, and carried it over to this year, he will be a great great scorer, and he's got alot of potential to be some kind of player..

Monta is a good shooter, very quick, and is young so you know he is only going to get better. With the team he has right now, he can be very dangerous considering how many scoring options their are on that team...by that, I mean that he will often have a bad perimeter defender on him considering the oposition will be focusing on Richardson and Davis. In a few years, this team is going to be dangerous.

I really like Powe at Cal and I do hope he continues to play well. How about Monta Ellis last night though? 31 pts, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds. This kid will definetly be very dangerous in a couple years.
