They just got J-Will back, so that may lesson the blow just a bit. It is going to suck for the Heat trying to get him back during the middle of the season, and get him into playing shape. This Heat team is not looking very good right now though. The Knicks are jumping on them, up 27-19, looking pretty good against these Heat.
Ah f*ck. Well, as long as he's back and healthy before playofftime, it really isn't too bad. Wayne Simien or Michael Doleac are gonna really step up as the backup to Zo though.
Aw Jesus Christ. Shaq probably couldnt play an NCAA season at this point. His body is just way too tired to keep him healthy for the whole 82 game schedule. If I were him, I would retire after this year, or the next.
I didn't expect Shaq to have surgery this early in the season, I'm starting to feel bad for Wade. He is getting alot of playing time and is having to carry the entire workload of the team. On the upside, J-Will is back like valo said and maybe he could push the ball up the court more, he provides much more energy then Gary does.
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/sou...-home-headlinesYes, this was already posted in the Heat forum, but I thought the news is big enough (like the man himself) to be in this forum.Edit: what the hell happened to thread title?????????

Kobe had to string off 9 40 point games to keep the lakers afloat in 2003. I feel sorry for wade, his team has no future hope
Shaq is officially done with. Knee surgery for anyone can be career changing, knee surgery for Shaq, who was already declining drastically will end his career. I see no point of him even coming back.
Shaq is breaking down quickly. He should retire after this season. I guess we'll see how good Wade is without Shaq.

This isn't micro-fracture surgery or anything, just a minor knee surgery in which he'll be out a month...month and a half.

I think it'll take longer for Shaq. Shaq after the surgery<<<Dampier.

I doubt it though. I know Shaq's a big guy, but I'm sure he's not gonna come back until he's 100% healthy and like I said this isn't a major surgery.
Yeah, Miami looks awful. They just lost at home to the Knicks by 24. I dont know if Wade can take control of the team with Shaq out for a month, or even more.
We'll be fine. We're still just getting Jason Williams back who was a key player for us last year and a month, month and a half really isn't as long as you guys are making it out to be. Shaq will be back with half the season still to play, which may even be a benefit getting him all this rest during the regular season and saving him for when we'll really need him which is of course is the palyoffs.

I guess it'll make him a better player though, sure did alot for Kobe.

He might be getting alot worse, but he still gets alot of attention. Shaq is done. He is too old, and he weighs too much. He needs to retire fast.
