Is anyone else getting to watch this game? I am watching it, at half time the Knicks are up 54-49, and looking pretty good. They are getting out and running, the Heat's only answer has been D-Wade who has a good number of points so far. David Lee is playing nice, I really like him as a player. He hustles so hard every game, and does alot of dirty work. He did the same thing at Florida, unfortunately he had to play with Roberson and Walsh who didn't like to run the offense or share the ball. Balkman is looking good, and looking like a solid draft pick right now. The Knicks don't appear to have much of a playbook, they just seem to have a "go out and run," type playbook which is working nice tonight.
o I watched that game.........we won by 24  even though the heat played without shaq and a no impact dwyane wade, a win is a win. kenny smith said the truth. this was the best game the knicks have played in the last 2 or 3 years. they played team basketball tonight and the other night against the wiz. their bench score 44 points!!! that's ridiculous. they shared the basketball and played as a unit which is what isiah has been preaching. not only that they are playing defense. they held the nba's best offense to 82 points and the defending champs to 76. as a fan, and a fan that hasn't seen much winning lately, this is something to smile about. I don't wanna sound too premature but I really believe we can make some noise this year. if they can continue this they will be a definite playoff team. they can't get big heads tho now. the nba is a long season and they gotta bring it every night but these last 2 games leave a good taste in my mouth :happy0144:
This was a nice game for the Knicks, I sat down to watch it and came away impressed with this team. If they can continue that type of play, they will be very rough this season. They are out running, sharing the ball, and played like a team having fun last night. The youngsters are getting lots of playing time, Frye, Lee, Balkman, and Robinson are all getting good minutes, while Isaih kept Francis and Marbury happy with their roles on the team. They had balanced scoring, with 5 players in double figures last night. I think the most impressive last night however was Quentin Richardson with his 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. This new style of play is right up his alley, as well as everyone elses on the team, but so far this season I think Richardson should be in that conversation for most imrpoved. This could be a fun exciting team to watch this year, especially if they keep playing like they did last night.
