Former Kansas State quarterback Daniel Sams told ESPN.com on Wednesday that he will be transferring to Football Championship Subdivision school McNeese State. Sams left Kansas State this spring after his position switch from quarterback to receiver didn't work the way he had hoped. He also said he wanted to be closer to his family in Louisiana. OSU RB Devon Thomas arrested Oklahoma State freshman running back Devon Thomas was arrested in his hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, late Wednesday on felony complaints of armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill, police said. Cameron Hunter, a walk-on wide receiver for the Cowboys, has been identified as the victim, his high school coach confirmed to ESPN.com. John Walsh, who coached Hunter at Denton Guyer (Texas), told ESPN.com in a text message that Hunter is "already home" and is "doing fine" following the incident.
