I knew that was going to happen, but I was really posting to show the perspective of what feels "old"... We actually share some of the same "big moments" at different times (ages) in life.

Ahh crap, this is going to turn into a Kumbaya love-fest in a moment.

I remember being thrilled with my Apple Mac and its 400k memory, no color screen. That little fucker was indestructible..you could get the optional 800k extension memory and I did midi work with Mastertracks..all those little black rectangles representing notes.

If you know what song this is from, then you are at least as old as I am...

People let me tell you 'bout my best friend,
He's a warm hearted person who'll love me till the end.
People let me tell you bout my best friend,
He's a one boy cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride and joy.

People let me tell you 'bout him he's so much fun
Whether we're talkin' man to man or whether we're talking son to son.
    Cause he's my best friend.
    Yes he's my best friend.
    (scat finish).

These guy feel old thinking of the TV they watched.

Hell, I remember watching a ball handling lesson by Bob Cousy. Not on TV, there was no TV,
the coach was showing us a movie.

Now the real kicker is, one of the things Cousy demonstrated was the air dribble. Ha! I tried it the next game, got called for travelling. I told the ref, that was an air dribble! He thought I was smart ass, got a T too. Never could find out anymore about the air dribble.

Yes, even though I lived in Southern California, we struggled getting to school in 8 foot snowdrifts...

I think my father's generation used to tell me that. I thought it was always funny.

The funny thing was my dad lived in South Dakota. I think there is actually some truth to his statement.

I think he'd be lying to you if he said he didn't walk 3 miles in snow each way living in South Dakota.

How old do I feel? I remember watching projector films of Meadowlark Lemon teaching me about geography.

I'm so old that I listened to radio before FM was invented, before music had genres or segregation according to type...you'd hear Frank Sinatra, the Beatles and Hank Williams back to back...a good song was just a good song and the backseat of cars was the size of a single bed

When the things you remember, nobody remembers.
Like, when the home town hero's were Portland Beavers who had the best players on the planet; Joe Brovia, Harvey Storey... It was easy to get to where they played, Vaughn Street! You could run there from the Street Car. Or watch the opposing teams come in at the train station from far away, like the San Diego Padres. Why were they Padres?
