Who do you guys try to emulate on the basketball court?

Who do you try to play like? Or who's moves do you copy?

 

Well, for me it's just a variety of defensive minded players.Ben Wallace / Bruce Bowen / Ron Artest are my tops.If I want to shut you down on offense, I will. That's what I'm known for when I play ball.

 

Well, Im pretty mixed. I am said I play like Gary Payton but now im getting a Brewer comparasion.My moves...hmm. Probably TMac. I like kicking out my leg a bit. XD

 

Kobe, I always try to emulate his jumshot and I try to emulate his defense as well.

 

Kobe definitely. The shot fakes and everything.

 

Dwyane Wade. I like to drive it to the hoop from the 3 point arc.

 

When I was a kid growing up, I used to copy Kevin Johnson of the Suns all the time. He used his speed and quickness to get into the lane, which I always did. Maybe most important is that Kevin Johnson had good handles, but he never tried to do to much unnecessary stuff with the ball, and I did the same thing. I don't do all the fancy dribbling, unless it's called for.

I like to emulate Mo Pete and Cuttino Mobley. an excellent outside shooter, but can also slash and hit the midrange. the thing is, I'm not that quick, so my game ends up being like wally szczerbiak's.

Nobody.I dont try to emulate anyone. I play my own game, and I use my own moves.

 

When I'm playing with my friends for fun and stuff I try to copy T-Mac's shot. I do the little head fake, then jump and kick the leg up. But in competitive play, I play like myself.

 

Maybe TJ ford or Chris Paul. Either way the key word is "try" I am too slow and fat.

 

If you are slow, then you definately dont play like TJ Ford, or Chris Paul...

 

That's why he said trys to play like them, meaning he likes the way they play and wants to play like those two, but obvisouly doesn't have the skills they have.

 

yeah, this thread is about who you try to play like, not who you actually play like. :focus:

 

I try to play like Darko, when he was with Detroit. I win, and dont do nothing but take some credit for it non the less.I also try to play like the guy from the globetroters that can hit a half court hook shot. Well the only shot I can get off is a hook shot.
