Didn't say it would.....just pointing out that the original post said he was their 3rd string center. Kobe will make sure he plays 30 min a night.

I don't think anyone said anything of the sort. Nice straw man though.

    On second thought...no, it wasn't.

That may be. Or perhaps Byron Scott will decide to start the better player instead of the established but declining veteran. Who knows?

I'd say you've gone mad with power, but we all know you've been there for a while.

So good, he lost his job twice. The two times he made it to the finals, he was in the Leastern Conference. Coming out in the East was a joke.

Lakers roster is a joke they will be one of if not the worst team in the west. Gasol was their best player last year. They got worse from last season.

If Nash is healthy, he is still easily the best true PG in the world. He would unselfishly help the Lakers as much as a healthy, selfish Bryant.

Writers talk about how different the team would have been with a healthy Bryant, but they don't notice how much better they would have been, if missing Kobe, but with a healthy Nash.

Getting fired from the Lebron-less Cavs doesn't count; that franchise is a joke (Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters).

The first two times he was fired, it was after 49 win seasons, and he was scapegoated when the team got worse because management was unable to keep significant pieces.

Lakers had a better bench than us last year too. So what? We made it to 2nd round. They went to lottery. Dumb thread.

I created board activity during the dregs of the off-season.

    Mission accomplished.

I'd slow down on the Kobe is better than Wes talk, with the caveat that we have NO clue how healthy Kobe is and he is clearly aging, especially if you factor in Wes' defense ability, it is probably closer than we think. That said, a truly healthy Kobe who is somehow rejuvenated is obviously better than Wes (I am doubtful on the prospect of that being true though, and I don't think his body can hold up to CARRYING that team for 82 games, which is what he's going to try and do).

Also, not sure I agree with Nash is better than Blake for the same general reason, Nash has a pretty poor injury history as of late, and didn't he flat out say he is pretty much playing to collect a paycheck at this point? Blake is still a decent player shooting wise and had a solid ast/to ratio I believe.

Robinson and Randle is interesting comparison, I'd lean towards you being correct because I think very highly of Randle. I'm also curious to see how McCollum and Barton play against actual NBA players.

All hope is lost for Leonard... :)

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled that Randle dropped to LA. I think he's a nice prospect.
