Amare Stoudemire has been playing like the Amare of old since given the opportunity to start and the whole team is finally starting to get it and it shows after a dominating performance against the Sixers without Nash last night. The Jazz are playing great ball right now to start off the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference and they have shown that they have one of the best front courts in the NBA. It will hurt them if Kirelenko can't play but Boozer has been dominant and Mehmet Okur has also been playing very well.Match-Up of the GameAmare Stoudemire vs. Carlos BoozerCarlos Boozer... 55FG%, 20.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.7 assistsAmare Stoudemire(in 4 starts)... 65FG%, 20 points, 9.5 reboundsThese two have been great for their teams. Giving them some easy points and some good rebounding. It will be great to watch them go head to head. Amare has been getting better but still hasn't been as mobile as he was last season and has had trouble with fouls in some games. He needs to play smart D and stay in the game if the Suns want to win. Boozer has to pick up the slack if Kirilenko misses another game. Another 20 and 12 game is needed to beat a surging Suns team.PredictionWith Nash possibly missing another game, I don't know how the Suns will beat such a good Jazz team right now. Especially in Utah(Suns are 0-3 on the road). They can't trust Banks to have another game like last night.Jazz 109 Suns 106
Ugh, what a bad foul called on Bell, and that's his 4th! Utah playing well though and they deserve to be ahead.
They gave up a lead a couple times already...Amare has 13 points and 7 rebounds so far. Bell has 10 and Marion has 14 so far. Kurt Thomas' mid-range jumper has been money so far this season. His FG% is close to 63% right now.Boozer is killing us. 14 and 11 in 18 minutes.54-49 Utah at halftime.

I have boozer in my fantasy team </div>And the Suns lead by 11 after 3. They outscored the Jazz 35-19 in the quarter. Raja and Kurt did a good job at the end there.
Damn it! Overtime. Leandro Barbosa missed two lay-ups that could have won the game for us. Raja Bell and Amare have had nice games but are both fouled out.
Tough, tough loss. And another big lead given up. Marion was carrying us at the end but this team just gave up so many opportunities to tie and win tonight. Curse you Banks, Kurt and Leandro! Nash, get well...
Wow, that was a terrific game. Deron Williams has officially arrived in this league, and he will only continue to get better. The Jazz are for real, and as long as they stay healthy they can make some noise out West.Tough loss for Phoenix... they have really had a problem holding onto leads thus far this season. But, it's early, and they should be fine.
Good game guys, I was at the game and it was great. it reminded me of the glory days for the Jazz. The refs totally sucked tonight, they would call fouls that weren't fouls, than miss obvious fouls. in the third quarter they decided to pick on the Jazz, than halfway through the fourth they change and start picking on the suns. I hate it when the refs dictate how a game is played.

But I am so happy Utah won (haha no offense Suns fans). 9-1, wow. Deron Williams is officially THE MAN (if he wasn't already). He is breaking out into a star, and I love it. I remember 2005 draft day I was with a few of my friends and they thought Deron was going to be a major bust. I said hell no, he will be a star PG. Sure enough, my friends can kiss my ass, Deron is tearing it up. Unbeleivable. And to think, they are still winning games without AK47.
Good god! I love Deron. Im trying to find some hookups where I can watch some of their games. I've only seen a few of them. I want to see more since im a Jazz fan also.

The problem is that they don't have any defense yet and we try to keep running even if we have a big lead. They need to get some halfcourt offense going part of the game.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (dsounG @ Nov 18 2006, 10:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Good god! I love Deron. Im in love with the Rockets though. <_<The Raptors because im forced to. The Jazz because they got 2 players I like a lot. .
Jazz games are almost impossible to see if you live outside of Utah. though they will be on ESPN next friday vs the lakers.
I thought this game was poorly officiated. That was until I looked at the Celtic/Knicks box score, a combined 113 free throws attempted :thumbdn1:

The Suns were terrible last year and are terrible this year in close games and in the 4th quarter. That's regardless of having Nash or not.
