    Oh I agree my friend, this has all the shades of the Boston massacre referring to the 4 game beat down that the Yankees gave the Red Sox many many years ago.

    Monday 7:05PM = RHP Brandon McCarthy 3-0 2.55 vs. RHP Max Scherzer 13-3 3.27

    Tuesday 7:05PM = RHP Hiroki Kuroda 7-7 3.98 vs. LHP David Price 11-8 3.11

    Wednesday 7:05PM = RHP Chris Capuano 0-1 4.38 vs. RHP Justin Verlander 10-9 4.66

    Thursday 1:05PM = RHP Shane Greene 2-1 3.68 vs. RHP Rick Porcello 13-5 3.18

    Yeah, I'd be as happy as a pig in shit if we can get a split here.

    this series will be a fair litmus test of the Yanx....

    Detroit can be beat, had a 5 game losing streak vs. Seattle and Toronto....were swept earlier by the Tribe, and lost 2/3 to the Tribe a 2nd time. Lost 2/3 to Tampa Bay, and were also swept by the Halos....in this game anything can happen.....

    3 out of 4 anyone.....? Only wish Tanaka and Pineda were on the mound, that would make for a more accurate litmus test.....

    Indeed they have, less the 3 game sweep by the Halos in L.A.

    The Tigers have owned the A's....

    yet they can be beat, swept by lesser teams, go figure eh?
