BURGERVILLE IS DOPE AS FUCK. IF THEY HAD THAT AS THE LOGO ON THESE FUCKING "KITS", I'LL BE ALL DOWN FOR IT.
Just wait a few years until Moda goes under or gets bought out by a different company. Then it will meet your lame hipster criteria.
I'd buy it! The Nuggets and Pistons are probably the nicest, though. It's kind of a toss-up who has the most embarrassing sponsor. "Smoothie King"??
You do know they sell that stuff in jars, right? For $5-6 bucks. It literally is the best 'spread' in fast food.
I know, unfortunately I can't bring it back to LA since its over the 3oz rule. There's a new burgerville at PDX hopefully they sell the spread in jars (its after TSA). I guess I could mail order some but then I'd have to pay that fucking shipping.
Sponsors on jerseys are bad enough. Sponsors bigger than the logo? Bigger than the city or team name? Fuck. Ing. Lame.
It does cut a little too close to the reality of corporate overlords playing unfeeling puppet master with our economy and lives.
One of the few good things about living in Southern Oregon is you can drive down to Redding for In N Out.
No way I'm putting anything on my body that says "MODA" on it. However, a straight up 'clima-cool' fabric "Trail Blazers" soccer style shirt would be, cool. Sans ads.
To be clear, my problem is with the ads, not the style of shirt. Unless they want the players to wear them, in which case, fuck 'em in the neck.
I just really think it's funny that we laud a burger franchise because they basically make a hamburger that's about as good as something you'd make on your own grill. That's pretty sad because of what it says about the fast food burger in general.
When something is regional, the mystique plays a bigger part in it. If people are saying "Hey, this place is good... it's only available here" Then the lure and myth of it grows, and so when you do finally get to have it, it's already pre-determined good, unless it just really sucks. But your mind is pretty much already telling you it's good because that's all you ever heard.
Well, from the time I spent down in LA, the hamburger meat in general is just god awful. So In and Out actually has some of the best hamburger meat in that area. That probably helps.
LA has awesome burgers everywhere. Much better than Portland's selection. Don't know what god-forsaken joints you're going to.
