Nice additions, and there's alot more..... Just to show the complete opposite: DiMaggio 2214 369 Carew 3053 1128 Ted Williams 2654 709 Wage Boggs 3010 745 Tony Gwynn 3141 434 Donnie BB 2153 444 Derek Jeter 3429 1816
F'kn incredible wasn't it....now those are the epitome of hitters..... With Tony Gwynn as #43rd on the all time, least amount of K's per AB's....all others are in the top 40 for least K's per At Bats....less Buckner who is 46th or 47th on the all time list. I know Rick was fortunate to watch Wee Willie, back in the day, did you ever get his autograph Rick, to go along with your collection of autographs, your best I've been show was that Cleopatra one on papyrus scrolls.....Noah's auto on stone engravings, and a wooden strip of the Ark....LOL, Joe Sewell** 2226 114 George Sisler 2812 327 Red Schoendienst 2449 346 Mickey Cochrane 1652 217 Charlie Gehringer 2839 372 Bill Dickey 1969 289 Bobby Richardson 1432 243 Johnny Pesky 1455 218 Arky Vaugh-ahem 2103 276 Billy Buckner 2715 453 ** Denotes MLB All Time lowest strikeout percentage: ah shit, I just spilled Coca-Cola all over my mother plucking key board......!!!! shit fire........damn it......

You are right Rick, the stats I'm looking at don't count the dead ball era....why I don't know, but IMO ya' gotta count the dead ball era....Contact is contact, regardless of era. a dead ball or live ball era. Both should be considered, nice point out..........! Damned coke ruined my effing keyboard, so I gotta use my son's laptop, and my fingers aren't flailing 100mph, as they are all over this effing small keypad, did I say I hate laptops keyboards. Now mine is a soda machine........fok...
3 others with more K's than Hits in this era are: Ryan Howard Chris Carter Todd Headley horrific hits to K ratios....the worst
Now why didn't you just say Matts put your glasses on and re-check those numbers, my bad, corrected to ...and thanks...
I don't doubt it, I believe it, yet don't want to believe any voting member was that lost, to vote a single MVP ballot for Reynolds. No more than a HOF voter, putting Kevin Mass on the HOF ballot, simply cuz he hit more HR's in less games than it took the Bambino to reach 100 HR's. I think all award voting, incl. HOF voters, have to mandatorily show transparency in their ballots, so those morons can have their voting privileges revoked...instead, we get another Selig gem.....boy I can't wait for Bud to go.....tho' I am not looking forward to probably seeing his right hand yes man as his replacement, or more of the same ol shit....different name same style???
