We have already been over this...this would be a terrible trade for Indy. O'neal isnt much worse than Garnett and they are giving up 3 starters for one. The Pacers would definitely not benefit from this. Garnett isnt a winner....he has shown that he needs alot of talent beside him for his team to be successful. The team that he would have in Indy wouldnt be that good at all, and IMO it would be worse than his situation in Minnessota right now. If O'neal, Jackson, and Tinsley were all traded, their 3rd option would be Granger who isnt going to be THAT good for a couple years....by this time, KG will be declining. If Minny trades him, they are going to trade him to a team where he has a chance at a ring. This wouldnt be the case in Indy.

What is even the point of this? This puts Minnesota in a WORSE position by getting a worse big man star (who is also injury prone) and adding to their G/F logjam. For Indiana, they lose 3 starters for one that won't get them any more wins.

Very interesting trade, but I dont think either GM could sell it enough to the other one.
