I make no claim that I am a agnostic theist. I 100% believe there is a God. You are agnostic because you do not 100% believe there isn't a God.

Atheist/theism refer to belief. Agnosticism refers to knowledge. From your posts I assume you would agree with the statement "it's not possible to have certain knowledge that God exists", otherwise you wouldn't bother mentioning faith.

You're (technically) an agnostic theist. Nothing wrong with that - it's much more respectable that someone who claims it's possible to know without any doubt or faith that God exists.

Exactly... I have knowledge that God exists because of my personal account. Just like one can acknowledge that they truly love someone through their personal account.

The problem with Atheism is Agnosticism conflicts with atheism in this regard. Lack of knowledge works for one to be agnostic that a God exists in the sense of the word, but Atheism claims there is no God. That means that one must prove that God doesn't exist in order to validate Atheism. Being Agnostic/Atheist is truly a contradiction.

I think HCP should be back from the PGA Championship today or tomorrow.

Atheism is not a claim to have certain knowledge that there is no God. If it were it wouldn't describe the vast majority of people who refer to themselves as atheists. You and PapaG have already beat that straw man to death.

An atheist can think it's not possible to know with certainty either way. Most of them do.

That's my way of thinking. I would add that I find the chances there is god highly remote, no evidence has ever supported the claim, but that does not provide total certainty.

not only are you way off the mark with his comment, you once again display the reason I have had such a hard time with your posts. Righteous as hell when you are tossing your bullshit from behind the masses, some one stand up and corners you and poof you are gone like a fart on a subway

I think if you are careful to define God as the traditional type that cares about and intervenes in human affairs most atheists would be close to, if not effectively 100% strong, and most tend to talk that way. The trouble with this is in debate theists like to latch onto that talk and then use (strawy) arguments for deism against it. Mags does this all the time.

All I stated is that this is a place for discussion, I don't see bullying. Please tell me exactly how the religious on this site are bullied. I'll keep an open mind as I read your answer.

this post once again contradicts you last statement. Again, you post lies. Or is it safer to say that your posts are untruthful...? Hmm, back to the ignore list before I get banned

Allowing people to read the "Scripture Readings" thread is bullying.

You know , Denny, this brings to mind an interesting point. I would be interested to see the figures on how many negative PMs because of the thread, and how many anti christian threads have peen posted versus how many anti non religious ( Gnostic, agnostic or anything in between)..
