The Cubs are close to an agreement with Drew but I want the Cubs to resign Pierre or sign Gary Mathews Junior, trade Murton, Marshall, and Guzman to the Jays for Vernon Wells. The thing about highering him back, is that Soriano is used to that lead off batter spot, so how well do you see him doing from the 2 whole? I think pretty good, considering he will have Lee behind him, they don't want to just walk him and give Lee an RBI oppurtunity. Plus the 2 whole allows a batter to be much more free swinging, he doesn't have to see as many pitches and look at the pitcher as much as the leadoff batter does. That lineup would be awesome. That Wells trade would not happen though, I don't believe the Blue Jays would give him up for all three of those guys. He is one of the top 2 or 3 center fielders in the game, and I don't believe the three of them together can help that team as much as he can.
