I was also a fan of Bacall's. Her & boggy met on the set of "To have & have not" she was just a kid. In the famous words of Bertie Huggins in the song Key Largo, "We had it, just like Boggy & Bacall". To many great ones are leaving us. Some like Williams, way to soon.
Bacall I thought was good looking in a different way. Like her voice and innuendos. Was watching TCM showing Carson reruns about 3-4 months ago and they reran an episode of Bacall being interviewed by Johnny Carson. Carson exhorted her to discuss her book which she did. She gave Carson a book marker that contained her "the look" photo. Carson thanked her then quipped I guess this marker is the only way I'll get you between the covers. Bacall got a good chuckle out of the remark.
