Ferguson is close to reaching a deal for a new, half-hour, 7 p.m. syndicated talk show that will begin airing next fall. Tribune Media Services will distribute the show. Ferguson is expected to bring his “Late Late Show” executive producer Michael Naidus and robot skeleton puppet Geoff with him, according to the Associated Press. Ferguson will also begin hosting “Celebrity Name Game,” another syndicated show that starts next month. The Hollywood Reporter offered a description: “The game show is based on the board game Identity Crisis.
