Chris Webber is obviously up there. He's lost alot, but he still has the best hands for a post in the league. there's also brad miller and kevin garnett.
Don't forget Lamar Odom. I mean, I know you are thinking of real post men. But I consider Lamar a big man and he is supposed to be playing center this season and stuff. So, I say Lamar Odom.
Yao Ming is an amazing passer for a center. Him and Steve Francis used to throw some pretty crazy passes to each other.Brad Miller obviously, Lamar Odom, Shaq.
To add on to those players, I thought Andrew Bynum showed tremendous passing ability, the few times I've seen him play..
Can we even count Lamar Odom as an inside player? He is WAY more of a perimeter player and im pretty sure everybody knows that. He just happens to play PF.
I can hardly call Odom as a big man with the versatility he shows... but yes he's one of the best.Brad Miller as well, it's obvious why.

And since he is like 6'10" or so, he is a big man and that is what the thread asked for. But I know what you mean, when I think big man, he doesn't really come to mind. He reminds me more of R.Lewis.
This is ranked for best to not so best IMO<ul>[*]Brad Miller[*]Pau Gasol[*]Kevin Garnett[*]Shaquille Oneal[*]Yao Ming[/list]Im sorry, but I dont really consider Odom a big man, but IF I did. he would probaly be 1st or 2nd.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Something-To-Say @ Nov 19 2006, 09:33 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Diaw when he's not sucking balls. Man, I forgot all about Pau Gasol. He averaged over 5 APG last year. I guess since he is injured, many people have forgetten about him. Yeah, I really wouldnt consider Diaw much of a big man. He isnt a player that is going to play with his back to the basket and do post moves. He has them in his arsenal, but when you think about it, just about every NBA player does.
oh yeah, I forgot about pau too. he's a very good passer, maybe the best of passing out of double teams.
What about Andrew Bogut. That's one name I haven't heard so far. He isn't the best big man in the league at it but he is pretty good at it.

I think you are thinking of the wrong player. Maybe you ment with Bogut being a rookie last year and where we are in the season this year it is to early to tell, which I don't agree with.

I don't count Lamar Odom as a big man, really. Sure, he's very versatile and he can really handle 4 positions, but he's more of a SF that is playing the 4 right now.Kevin GarnettShaquille O'NealBrad MillerTim DuncanPau GasolAndrew BogutChris Webber (you may hate him, but he can still dish the ball)Those are the obvious choices, but I'd like to add a few more unmentioned ones:Chris Bosh (underrated passer)Antawn Jamison (not flashy, but makes nice passes out of the post)Brian Scalabrine (may not be a star, but he is a very good passer, IMO)Charlie Villanueva (has poor man's Lamar Odom written all over him)
How are me and AustinGriz the only ones to name Yao Ming? He is a much better passer than most of the guys mentioned in this thread.
