I fully admit PC gaming is most powerful way and biggest platform for gaming, but I just cant do it. In my limited time to play games now, I just want it to work when I sit down. I dont want to deal with drivers, and a bunch of troubleshooting. As much as I'm probably missing out on, I just want to sit on a couch and play. Plus I love controllers
You're just being obtuse about PC gaming at this point man, it's so streamlined now and you can use a wireless controller with it while it's plugged into your tv. It's as easy as a ps4 at this point.
To be honest, I could see how knowing all the equipment to get it to that point could be a little tricky, but who doesn't have a friend or relative that could help you out?
Price bruh. And iirc a few of the better games that came to PC first didnt have controller support until later. With Console, I know that developers will be making something that will work on that system for 7+ years. Whereas PC developers dont have the same constraints so why would they.
Destiny doesn't have a pc release date, that automatically gives anybody an excuse to want to play console.
Price evens out when you consider things like Steam and Amazon digital games sales, plus no subscription fees to play online. It is more of an upfront cost though obviously. The playing old games argument is weird though because there is a bunch of old games from the 90s on Steam that work perfectly on Windows 7. I own pretty much every modern console but the Vita and Xbone so i get the best of both worlds though.
Not really unless you get outdated components for your pc. A new pc will run you 1k+ while a new console is under 500. You can also go longer without needing to upgrade for quality.
If you buy the parts online and build it yourself you can get a really nice PC that runs every game on high for around 700 bucks.
Oh, and pick this up, these games are really good http://www.amazon.com/Metro-Redux-P...F8&qid=1408658149&sr=8-1&keywords=metro redux
which brings me back to my original "I know its the biggest platform, but in my limited time I have to play, I want to just sit and play"
Gamesharing on my PS3 and PS4 with my cousin is a nice convenience for that price too at least. but yeah Steam Sales>>>>
meh I'll stick with Gamesharing with my cousin on PS4 for half the cost of full games muahahahha! (just kidding if there is a sony exec in here)
Realistically though if some one wants to build a pc I'm sure there are people on these forums who could help out. I'm not the most knowledgeable but I know enough to help a bit.
