I found your explanation for Drew batting where he did yesterday as pretty logical, knowing that guys like Girardi generally play the odds. Its rare for Joe to go with a hunch, but to his credit he usually owns up to those in interviews. Meh....this is arguing for argument sake at this point. Is it that hard to tip your cap when/where its deserved?
...tote, I don't think there's any way that's gonna happen...if he had acknowledged it and tipped his cap, I would have been more understanding.
maybe i'm just not watchin closely enough but how ichiro isn't stealing is beyond my understanding of this game..... and that wasn't a strike but too close to not swing at
Are you really now that hard up to be right that your actually claiming that theres a degree in questioning one's actions now. Holy shit if this isn't grasping at straws I don't know what it. But just to close this out because you're making it really ridiculous now, I just want to be sure I understand this. You humorously justified his batting in the middle of the order because he hit well against Shields. And you intelligently based this (going into last nights game) on only 11 career at bats. So I questioned it arguing that no other manager would have a 165 hitter hitting as high as 5th (but I'll gladly give you time to find me one or two). But i questioned it & you told me I was wrong. Steve (Hammer) also questioned it so I guess he was also wrong. Michael Kay questioned it, he was wrong. Ken Singleton questioned it & he was wrong. Seems to me like everyone else is wrong except.........................................................you. Comic relief at its finest.
